Wade Fowler is a member of the Resistance in Far Cry 5 and the co-owner of the F.A.N.G. Center in the Whitetail Mountains region.
Far Cry 5[]
While his brother Dave, the other co-owner, took care of the merchandise, Wade ran the F.A.N.G. Center and took care of the animals. One day Wade found a young bear cub, snacking on greasy leftovers in a dumpster behind The Grill Streak. He’d been left to fend for himself after his mother was shot by poachers. Wade took him back to the Center, where he was bottle-fed and nurtured back to health. Cheeseburger, as they named him, grew to be the main attraction of the center.
Far Cry New Dawn[]
Wade survives the nuclear holocaust, and plans to create a new F.A.N.G. Center in the old Lamb of God Church.
A letter from Wade can be found from the ruins of the FANG Center, which concerns Cheeseburger.
Wade's journal details how he trained a wild bear to retrieve his keys to the crypt where he stashed his prepper supplies. However as time went on, Wade's journal noted the bear has been looking hungry and looking at him like he was a meal. There is also an audio recording of a fellow survivor warning Wade that the bear he trained looked dangerous. The fact that Wade is no longer around, along with a grave outside the new FANG Center seems to imply Wade was eaten by the bear he trained.
