Royal Fortress is a location within Kyrat in Far Cry 4.
It is the final barricade before King Pagan Min's Palace and the last obstacle for the Golden Path in the mission Ashes to Ashes.
The fortress has a colossal statue of Pagan Min made of solid gold from numerous ancient artifacts melted down and posed by Eric. If Ajay Ghale stays with Pagan Min from the start, the statue stands. If Ajay joins Golden Path, then in the mission Ashes to Ashes the statue would be destroyed in 2014 exactly the same way as the statue of Saddam Hussein in 2003 and the statue of Antón Castillo in 2021, with only the boots remain.
Also in the mission Ashes to Ashes, the rare Royal Guard Assaulter Commanders appear in this fortress where they make their last stand.
