Full map of Oros

Oros is a land during the Mesolithic time period of the Stone Age. It was an ancient glacier located in the North of Central Europe that melted at the end of the last ice age, which then became a very fertile valley, and the setting of Far Cry Primal.[1]

Wildlife

Oros (Comes from the Greek word Όρος/Βουνό, which translates to Mountain in English) is very diverse with wildlife such as deer, goats, boars, eagles, as well as Pleistocene megafauna such as Woolly Mammoths, Sabretooth Tigers, Wolves, Cave Bears, Woolly Rhinos, and Irish Elks.

Geography

Oros is divided into three different geographical regions: The Arctic Tundra in the north, the Valley in the middle, and the Marshlands in the south. Surrounded by tall mountains, the entrances to Oros can be difficult to be found, as evidenced by Takkar since he knew that he was near Oros, but he had to find a narrow seam to enter the land. Oros is very similar with the south of Kyrat, one of the locations in Far Cry 4.
