« What’s better than having a tank strapped to your arm? The Killstar, a weapon based on a mysterious design whose origins are lost in the fogs of history. This Arm Laser Cannon feeds the bio-amplitude levels of the human body into reaching pitch resonance polarity. Did that make sense? Probably not, but then again… Arm Laser Cannon! Warning: May give you eye herpes. But… Arm Laser Cannon! »

The Killstar is a special weapon in Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

It is unlocked during the penultimate story mission, "Test Your Might."

The Killstar does not use any ammo type, but instead feeds off its user's vitality to bring "the bio-amplitude levels of the human body into reaching pitch resonance polarity" to create a lethal laser beam.

Although the Killstar depletes Rex' health while firing, its drain is surprisingly low when compared to the weapon's extreme damage output. Also, by the time the Killstar becomes available, Rex should be near or at his maximum level, so his enormous health pool means he can use the Killstar as his primary weapon without having to worry much about putting himself in danger.

It is impossible to accidentally kill Rex by firing the Killstar because when his health is very low, the weapon simply will not work.

Being the game's ultimate weapon, the Killstar is pinpoint accurate, has great range and is capable of killing all but the most resilient enemies virtually instantly. Even Blood Dragons can be downed in only a few seconds of continuous fire, especially if Rex manages to keep the beam pointed at the weakpoint in their chest.

The Killstar cannot be upgraded or modified in any way.
